Edouard Daladier Hermann Göring

French Prime Minister Edouard Daladier and German Generalfeldmarschall Hermann Göring (Oberbefehlshaber der Luftwaffe) in an open-top sedan in Münich, Germany, 29 September 1938, during the conference for a settlement permitting Nazi Germany’s annexation of portions of Czechoslovakia along the country’s borders mainly inhabited by German speakers, for which a new territorial designation “Sudetenland” was coined. SS officer standing behind Göring is SS-Hauptsturmführer Peter Hogl.
